 # Welcome to the Unitree Go2 ROS2 SDK Project! > [!IMPORTANT] > I hadn’t updated this repository in a long time, and a lot of changes accumulated, making the project somewhat messy. I’ve finally found time to refactor everything using Clean Architecture principles. Previously, the LiDAR stream ran at around 2 Hz; it now updates at 7 Hz. However, joint states still arrive at 1 Hz, so you may notice some URDF update lag—that’s expected with the new firmware (v1.1.7). We’ll need to find a workaround for that. This repo will empower your Unitree GO2 AIR/PRO/EDU robots with ROS2 capabilities, using both WebRTC (Wi-Fi) and CycloneDDS (Ethernet) protocols.
